Award Winning Wineries

Why not take a self guided wine tour through the breathtaking foothills of Polk County? Our foothills boast four successful thriving wineries. The famous Tryon Grapes viticulture history goes back to the 1860’s.

Being  under 1,500′ elevation, the unique thermal belt climate provides a longer growing period and fewer frost dates resulting in what AJ Lemort called “The perfect climate and soil for growing grapes.”

Best to call ahead to ensure wine tasting or vineyard tour hours!
