About the House and the Furniture

The hardest part of selling houses we love is figuring out what to do with all the beautiful stuff we have - the atmosphere we live in that makes our house a home. Separating these things is easy for some people, and for others, myself included, just the thought can rise to the level of ‘time to call a psychiatrist.’

There are only a few real choices to be made: move the stuff to a new place or storage, find someone to give it to or sell it, have an estate sale or find a consignment shop, or call Habitat to come pick it up, Thinking about selling our home - and actually taking the action to make it happen - can be a difficult and heavy project to wrap our minds around.

Our work at Around Tryon Properties isn’t just about buying, selling or renting houses - we take on the ‘whole client’ and help with the entire process - not just the house. The stuff and the memories and the stories and the value of the stuff are much more complicated, and personal. We understand this issue can be very heavy and are happy to help shepherd our clients through the stages from just thinking about it to getting it done.
